the first six will be paid at 100% of your average weekly earnings (inclusive of
your statutory maternity pay) ;
● weeks seven to eighteen will be SMP topped up to 50% of your average weekly
earnings (inclusive of your statutory maternity pay);
● Weeks nineteen to thirty nine will be paid at a rate set by the government, or
at 90% of your average weekly earnings if this is lower.

How long do you have to work at the company to qualify?

52 weeks by the Sunday before your baby is due and
provided that you earn above a certain limit, we’re delighted to be able to offer enhanced
maternity pay.

If you decide to cease employment whilst on leave what is the clawback policy?

.1 If you do not return to work after your maternity leave, 100% of the enhanced
maternity pay must be repaid;
If your employment ends within 3 months of returning from maternity leave, 80%
of enhanced maternity pay must be repaid.
If your employment ends between 3-6 months of returning from maternity leave, 60% of
enhanced maternity pay must be repaid
If your employment ends more than 6 months but no more than 12 months of
returning from maternity leave, 30% of enhanced maternity pay must be repaid.
